Liam Forde


Liam Forde is an actor, singer, and cabaret artist. Most recently, he received the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a play for Hand to God at the Studio Theatre in Washington D.C. Off-Broadway: Much Ado About Nothing (Theatre for a New Audience), Big (York Theatre Co.), Six Wives (York Theatre Co., 2013 Studio Cast Recording). Regional/Tour: Jumpers for Goalposts (Studio Theatre, Helen Hayes nomination, Best Supporting Actor in a Play), Dickon in The Secret Garden (Denver Center), Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher (Pioneer Theatre Co.), Amazing Grace (Goodspeed), Seussical (Tour). Readings: Design for Living (The Acting Company, directed by Maria Aitken). In Cabaret, Liam has performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, the Oak Room, Joe's Pub, the Laurie Beechman, and in Paris at Club Rayé, Le Carré Parisien, L'Auguste Theatre, and Café Universel. He is the recipient of the 2014 Julie Wilson Award, Nightlife Award for Outstanding Male Vocalist, and 2013 Bistro Award for performer on the rise. Will Friedwald of the Wall Street Journal deemed Liam "the boy wonder." He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory and is an honorary member of the Noel Coward society.
